Weekend Wardrobe {Noosa Edition}

On the weekend we arrived the weather was actually pretty horrific! A break in the torrential rain allowed us to head to Eumundi for coffee and then we drove back up the coast to Noosa, stopping at Coolum Beach to wander along the boardwalk.

I was mixing patterns and layering things up, as one minute we would be basked in gorgeous sunshine and the next the clouds would roll in and the heavens would open.

Lovely in Lace

Beyonce’s figure-hugging white and sheer floral lace Michael Costello gown that she rocked at the Grammys has made both fashion hit and miss lists. For me Beyonce manages to pull it off, remaining classy while showing some skin and not looking too much like a bride.

Kip & Co.

I have been on the hunt for a dark coloured duvet cover for our bedroom and on Friday I took the online shopping plunge and bought this bad boy from Kip & Co (minus the spotted sheet set).

I’m going to keep the sheet set to white or black as I prefer a cleaner look in our bedroom, however I love the way Kip & Co. encourage mixing and matching of colours and prints, it brings a sense of fun and a bohemian vibe.

Check out their funky children’s sets which would surely make any child want to jump into bed at night (well, maybe!).

Photos and review of the look to come when the eagerly awaited package arrives on my door step.

Kip & Co. is available in NZ at Letliv, Collected, Mint Six and Superette.

Race Day! {Part Three}

Today’s post is all about the vital finishing touches of a race day outfit – the head piece!

A race day hat doesn’t have to be a full on Philip Treacy worthy affair, instead a fascinator, floral wreath or beaded headband could be all you need to put the finishing touches on your outfit.
