I am obsessed with this limited edition print by NZ artist Paul Hartigan. I
want need it on our white living room wall! The roses seem to be exploding out of the palm tree like fireworks – beautiful!
Paul Hartigan works predominantly in neon and I love how he has used multiple-exposure Polaroid images to continue his experimentation with the theme of illumination. The Poloroids were made in the Auckland Domain during late 1980’s and haven’t been photoshopped, instead they were created within the camera by multiple exposures made directly onto the Polaroid film.
Head to The Poi Room to see further images available for sale.
